Efficient Ring Signatures Without Random Oracles

چکیده
We describe the first efficient ring signature scheme secure, without random oracles, basedon standard assumptions. Our ring signatures are based in bilinear groups. For l members ofa ring our signatures consist of 2l + 2 group elements and require 2l + 3 pairings to verify. Weprove our scheme secure in the strongest security model proposed by Bender, Katz, and Morselli:namely, we show our scheme to be anonymous against full key exposure and unforgeable withrespect to insider corruption. A shortcoming of our approach is that all the users’ keys must bedefined in the same group.

(Hierarchical Identity-Based) Threshold Ring Signatures without Random Oracles
We construct the first several efficient threshold ring signatures (TRS) without random oracles. Specializing to a threshold of one, they are the first several efficient ring signatures without random oracles after the only earlier instantiation of Chow, Liu, Wei, and Yuen [22]. Further specializing to a ring of just one user, they are the short (ordinary) signatures without random oracles summ...
متن کاملn) without Random Oracles
Ring signatures, introduced by Rivest, Shamir and Tauman (ASIACRYPT 2001), allow to sign a message on behalf of a set of users (called a ring) while guaranteeing authenticity, i.e. only members of the ring can produce valid signatures, and anonymity, i.e. signatures hide the actual signer. In terms of efficiency, the shortest ring signatures are of size Θ(logn), where n is the size of the ring,...
متن کاملLogarithmic size ring signatures without random oracles
Ring signatures enable a user to anonymously sign a message on behalf of group of users. In this paper, we propose the first ring signature scheme whose size is O(log2N), where N is the number of users in the ring. We achieve this result by improving Chandran et al.’s ring signature scheme presented at ICALP 2007. Our scheme uses a common reference string and non-interactive zero-knowledge proo...
متن کاملSub-linear Blind Ring Signatures without Random Oracles
Ring signatures allow a signer to anonymously sign a message on behalf of a set of arbitrarily chosen signers called a “ring”. Blind signatures, on the other hand, allow a user to obtain a signature on a message while maintaining the privacy of the message. Blind ring signatures combine properties of both primitives and hence provide a strong notion of anonymity where the privacy of both the id...
متن کاملForward Secure Ring Signature without Random Oracles
In this paper, we propose a forward secure ring signature scheme without random oracles. With forward security, if a secret key of a corresponding ring member is exposed, all previously signed signatures containing this member remain valid. Yet the one who has stolen the secret key cannot produce any valid signature belonged to the past time period. This is especially useful in the case of ring...
